Thank God the debate’s are finally over! Not that I dont’ think it well for John McCain finally, but because I’m tired of seeing two liars fight like kids over the basketball court. I mean, we need to be honest withourselves, neither one of them are going to bring any change. The things they have been discussing are not powers of the president, we need to be most concerned with leadership, not what each one plans on accomplishing through legislature.
A President is not responsible for writing bills, not in charge of our foreign policies, and not the final say in any budget. While they each have their own agenda, neither is capable of getting any of the things they mention done without the support from our congress. Unfortunately it’s a democratically controlled congress right now, so if you love socialism go ahead and elect Barrack. But what happens when our nation’s security gets called into question?
I want a mean dog at the helm, I want a Commander In Chief that knows what it’s like to serve in the military and be able to make decisions based on experience. Your policies don’t mean dick as president if congress has any say, but you do have complete control over our military, at least the Marine Corp.
Enough debates, enough bickering, bring on the election and pray to God we don’t get Hussein.

Filed in Legislature Review
For this first time I’m attempting to read government legislature unabridged, raw, and not spoon fed me by any media network. It’s difficult, because the way such bills are written, to me, leaves a lot to the imagination in the form of loopholes, backdoors, and interpretation. Furthermore, although I’m a novice, I get the distinct impression that the signed version fo the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act H.R. 1424 wreaks of lobbyist intervention. Specifically I’ve been intrigued by Sec. 101 and the authority it gives to the Secretary.
Sec. 101 of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act gives authority to the Secretary to establish a Troubled Asset Relief Program, otherwise known as TARP. This program gives the Secretary the power to purchase ANY troubled assets from a financial institution as long as it meets certain terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are not made by an outside board or even covered in detail within the bill, but rather set by the Secretary. Also, it’s specifically stated that the terms that are set by the legislature are not meant to delay the commencement of TARP in any way. Is this the meat of the bail out?
- (c) Necessary Actions- The Secretary is authorized to take such actions as the Secretary deems necessary to carry out the authorities in this Act, including, without limitation, the following:
-
- (1) The Secretary shall have direct hiring authority with respect to the appointment of employees to administer this Act.
-
- (2) Entering into contracts, including contracts for services authorized by section 3109 of title 5, United States Code.
-
- (3) Designating financial institutions as financial agents of the Federal Government, and such institutions shall perform all such reasonable duties related to this Act as financial agents of the Federal Government as may be required.
-
- (4) In order to provide the Secretary with the flexibility to manage troubled assets in a manner designed to minimize cost to the taxpayers, establishing vehicles that are authorized, subject to supervision by the Secretary, to purchase, hold, and sell troubled assets and issue obligations.
-
- (5) Issuing such regulations and other guidance as may be necessary or appropriate to define terms or carry out the authorities or purposes of this Act.
It would appear to me that H.R. 1424 was passed in a rush so that no other legislature will have to be voted on to move forward. Meaning, this is not just a one time bailout, but authorization to the Secretary to bailout whomever they wish, whenever they wish, without, in my eyes, proper moderation.
Now there is plenty of flowery talk within this Act, which frankly I didn’t think existed. For example, laced throughout this Act are reminders that any troubled assets purchased under TARP should be handled with the following in mind.
- the taxpayers.
- providing stability and preventing disruption to financial markets.
- help families keep their homes.
- protect American jobs.
How the hell is buying BAD debt doing any of the previous mentioned statements? I do my best on a daily basis to manage my own risk and now the US Government is giving power to the Secretary to manage risk for me. BUYING UP BAD DEBT WILLY NILLY IS NOT PROPER RISK MANAGEMENT AND IS WHAT GOT US HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.
TARP represents a golden parachute for an unlimited number of corporations and financial institutions without regard to actual taxpayer risk management. The establishment of TARP itself removes any need for democracy in the future for bailouts. How does such an Act get passed when just days later a similar version of the bill was voted out? Is there more to the story that our government is not telling us?

It’s cheeky, but tit for tat, only this image is not photoshopped and the story not made up. Since the apple never falls far from the tree and all the liberals love Al Gore, let’s take a look at how his offspring turned out.
Al Gore III was arrested last July on drug charges when his Prius was clocked at over 100mph on the San Diego freeway. That’s so shocking, I had no idea a Prius could do over 45 mph.

I’m sure if you frequent popular social bookmarking sites like Digg and Reddit then you have seen the supposed ‘Sarah Palin Parenting’ photo. The image depicts one of her younger kids giving the finger associated with a sneer. It’s believable, so much so that it received over 4300 Diggs and 1700 upvotes on Reddit.

Palin Parenting Fake as seen on social liberal sites.
A healthy reminder that just because something may receive a lot of votes on these liberal sites doesn’t mean it’s true.

He’s the democrat’s savior and we still don’t know everything about him. His history is being rewritten on what seems to be a daily basis, with him denouncing certain people who collaborated with in the past, and it being taboo to question in general. After the moronic decision to ok the $850 billion bailout deal yesterday, I needed some funny Obama pictures to make me fel better.

The moment I start talking abortion I’m immediately chastised simply because I’m male. It’s believed that I couldn’t possibly understand what a woman goes through during the 9 month gestation period or what follows. Allow me to shed a little light on my own experience.
My wife gave birth to my first baby girl a little over a year ago, thankfully it was a normal pregnancy. During the 9 months of belly growing I stood side by side my increasingly beautiful wife. I suffered through her back aches, inability to get comfortable, and the morning sickness which seemed to last the entire term. Furthermore I held her hand the 13 hours of labor she had to endure and looked her in the eyes, to tell her it would be ok, when she received her epidural.
In the moments up until my daughters birth I happily held my wife’s leg, counting the entire way in between contractions. I was there when I daughter finally came into this world, I was by my wife, I went through the entire blessing by her side. After the examination, I was the first person to feed my beautiful girl and the first to wipe the sweat from my wife’s brow. I understand the pain she went through, just as I understand the joy she felt looking at our daughter for the first time.
Should I be exempt from discussing abortion and women’s rights just because I’m not a female? Can you not have an opinion on war, even though you’ve never killed a person?
Should morals falter depending on the circumstance? No, morals should always be upheld. It’s an obligation to take the higher road and endure what may be difficult because you know it’s right. It’s not a God given right to kill a life, it’s a decision that’s made and doesn’t require the same sex to understand.
I truly believe every life is precious and God has bestowed great responsibility unto females to bring life into this world. Whether you are male or female there is no justification for destroying God’s gift. The life that’s been created is here for a reason and that reason should not be snuffed out, no matter our short-sited views.
Every definition of abortion begins with the word ‘murder’.

Unfortunate for the democratic party Obama has a real issue with talking, the moment he loses site of his prompter. Suffice it to say these are when his true colors are shown, at least in regards to the level of understanding he exhibits for certain subjects. The stumbling, the ‘um’s’ and ‘ah’s’ show a lack of void in his conviction and ability, at least for me.
Half of America is confused right now and I honestly believe they are confusing character with charisma.

The economy is in the shitter and everyone knows it, the only problem is that those responsible for change refuse to call’s it like they see’s it. But, that hasn’t stopped them from stepping in with some HUGE bailouts and perhaps we haven’t seen the largest yet. According to the ‘news’ last night there will be one gigantic pile of money waiting for loan institutions who are failing to start pulling from to keep them afloat. This will make the latest AIG bailout o $82 billion look like fly on the Statue of Liberty.
Currently being drafted is a bill that will allow the largest government intervention into our financial free market since the 1930’s. According to industry analysts and obviously those on capital hill, it’s a required step to secure both the US economy and others. So why aren’t ‘others’ stepping in to help foot the bill? Again it looks like the US is left holding the smoking gun and will help provide for the entire world, since the tentacles of AIG were far reaching and not just here in America.
As usual we are happy to do our part.
