Liberals love their Gallup polls, exit polls, any poll, but of course they only report on something that appeals to their own agenda. Specifically there has been endless talk throughout the past 2 years on how low Bush’s approval rating is, but no talk ever about Congress’s. Well guess what, our democratically controlled congress gets an approval rating just like George Bush and according to the last figures theirs is LOWER.

On October 20, 2008 Bush’s approval rating continued to hover in the high 20′s, actually at 29%. Our congress started off 2008 with an approval rating of 23% and as of the last Gallup Poll dropped below 20% for the first time since 1992.

Hope and change coming from the democrat party? If Obama’s appointments are any indication of where this country is heading then we know we are going to be in for a long and disappointing 4 years. The majority of his appointees have been old Clinton administration that dates back to one of the lowest congressional ratings in the Gallups 34 years taking polls on such matters.

So why do we not hear popular media discussing low congress ratings and only bashing Bush on his low popularity numbers?

Thank God the debate’s are finally over! Not that I dont’ think it well for John McCain finally, but because I’m tired of seeing two liars fight like kids over the basketball court. I mean, we need to be honest withourselves, neither one of them are going to bring any change. The things they have been discussing are not powers of the president, we need to be most concerned with leadership, not what each one plans on accomplishing through legislature.

A President is not responsible for writing bills, not in charge of our foreign policies, and not the final say in any budget. While they each have their own agenda, neither is capable of getting any of the things they mention done without the support from our congress. Unfortunately it’s a democratically controlled congress right now, so if you love socialism go ahead and elect Barrack. But what happens when our nation’s security gets called into question?

I want a mean dog at the helm, I want a Commander In Chief that knows what it’s like to serve in the military and be able to make decisions based on experience. Your policies don’t mean dick as president if congress has any say, but you do have complete control over our military, at least the Marine Corp.

Enough debates, enough bickering, bring on the election and pray to God we don’t get Hussein.
